I'm an international athlete. Can I be on Fanstake?

While we recommend that every international athlete consult with an attorney regarding the specifics of their situation, yes, international athletes can be on Fanstake and receive committed Stakes as long as specific conditions are met.

In order to remain compliant with US labor law and abide by the limitations of student visa holders (typically F-1 in the US), we require all endorsements from athletes on Fanstake who are not US citizens to be completed while the athletes are in their home country.

This will be confirmed before payments are sent to athletes. Currency exchange fees or other administrative fees may apply, and again, we advise that international athletes seek legal counsel.
